Prepare. Align. Apply.

A clean result starts before application.

This prelaunch guide explains the intended installation sequence and the decisions customers should make first. Final packaged instructions will replace this overview for the finished product.

Readiness check

Do not begin until all five are true

Installation should happen only when the location, conditions, product, and installer are ready.

The location is authorized

  • You have checked applicable local marking rules.
  • You have permission from the person or organization that controls the surface.
  • The address presentation does not obscure an official marking or create confusion.

The work area is safe

  • You can work without entering an active traffic lane.
  • Visibility, weather, lighting, and footing are appropriate.
  • Children and pets can remain clear of the work area and supplies.

The surface appears compatible

  • Its material and finish match the final compatibility guidance.
  • It is structurally sound—not loose, crumbling, flaking, or actively wet.
  • Its texture allows complete contact under the final product specification.

The order is correct

  • The digits and orientation match the approved order.
  • The graphic has no visible shipping damage or production defect.
  • You have read the entire packaged instruction sheet before exposing adhesive.

Intended sequence

Five controlled steps

This is the planned shape of the process. Exact tools, cleaning agents, measurements, temperature limits, and wait periods will be added only after testing.

01

Inspect

Compare the location and surface with the final fit criteria. Photograph existing damage if it could affect installation or a later support request.

02

Prepare

Remove loose debris and clean only with the method specified in the packaged instructions. Let the surface reach the required dry condition.

03

Dry-position

Keep the liner in place while checking height, reading direction, spacing, and sightline. Use a removable alignment method approved by the final guide.

04

Apply

Expose and press the material in the sequence shown in the instructions. Work steadily and never stretch or aggressively reposition material unless the tested product guidance allows it.

05

Finish and inspect

Complete the specified edge pressure and visual inspection. Keep the area undisturbed for the published set period before judging the final bond.

Stop conditions

Pause instead of forcing it

A personalized graphic is not worth a damaged surface, unsafe installation, or poor result.

Stop before application if…

  • The address, size, orientation, or design is wrong.
  • The product appears damaged, creased, contaminated, or defective.
  • The location lacks permission or creates a traffic hazard.
  • The surface or conditions fall outside the final specification.

After application

Do not use heat, blades, harsh chemicals, pressure washing, or improvised repair methods unless the final care guide expressly allows them. Photograph an unexpected failure and preserve the order reference for support.
